TERMINATION STYLES (low frequency)
Available for both male and female covering p.c.b.s of 1.6, 2.4 and 3.2mm thickness there is a choice of straight and 90°p.c., solder for wire, crimp (22-26 AWG) and wire wrapping. High power contacts are available with solder bucket, straight and 90°p.c. |
TERMINATION STYLES (high frequency)
Available for both male and female, they are suitable for twisted pairs, straight and 90° flexible coaxial cable (RG178), straight and 90° semi rigid cable (RG405-UT85) and straight and 90°p.c. Preserved impedance is maintained with flexible and semi rigid coaxial types (50ohm) with a reflection coefficient of 0.13 max. up to 2GHz. |
Covers suitable for round or flat cable with side or top
entry are available for sizes from 17 up to 65 way (or their equivalent mixed layout). Where male 90° p.c. connectors are mounted to "daughter boards" a pin shroud can be fitted to all mould sizes to reduce the risk of accidental pin damage. A full range of tools for crimping and contact removal are available. |
A comprehensive range of guides is provided. These may be polarized to provide 36 positions or may be unpolarized. There is a choice of standard, jacketing and ¼ turn locking. |
